I've never seen this bit and don't even know what its called. Google doesn't pull anything up. Its a Dom Hansen twisted wire three piece but it has these two rings around the mouth piece. I was told that's what the headstall attaches too but it looks wrong. Any ideas?
Edited because I'm a tard. I meant Don....not Dale. I've tried googling Don Hansen....not Dale the sports guy lol

From what I've gathered off google and her dad is the rings can be different sizes and normally have spoons on the side. Ill post another link.
oh great, have you used it?
Haha no I was too scared too! I may just sell it since it doesn't sound like something ill ever use. May have one of my more braver comrades use it :) it sounds pretty severe and the gelding I could use it on tends to be really heavy and hangs on me and sometimes I get heavy hands so I'm afraid I'd hurt him :/

I looked at the attachment you posted. I'd be scared of the horse I had to put that on! If the horse is half as bad as that bit we'd be in big trouble. I'd sell it to or use it for decoration. Maybe take it apart and remove the inside rings.

Is just cut the two extra rings off and call it a regular snaffle. Lol. Looks like a nicely made bit: no pinch sides, versatile mouth piece, looks well-made.

Are ya'll serious?!?!?! I think it's cool! What do you want for it?
Lol that's why I got it! Its been sitting in my dresser forever. I traded it and gag bit for a myler I had so not sure of its value even. Its one neat looking bit though!

A bit is only as harsh as the hands using it. It works on some others not so much. I have used it for slow work - better in my opinion than a single twist. it takes a few days of riding in it for a horse to pay attention. Do not look for results the first ride.
