What is the best all around, most cost effective supplement that you give to your runnin horses? I feed Æ currently and THE to my injuries mare. I'd love to be able to afford to feed THE to both running horses but at $100/32 servings I can't. So if that give you a price range...

They both get an IM joint med (deciding pentosan or Acetyl D Glucosamine- currently on Acetyl D) and liquid 747 for vits/ minerals

You can get the THE Muscle Mass with additives for cheaper than a complete strength blend. . .

I am about to try Formula 1 Noni- Blue label with the HA.  My horses are also on Aceytl-D Glucosamine Chondroitin.  I've heard alot of good things about this supplement.  I wanted to feed Platinum Perfermance CJ, but just could not afford it.

I put my husband's mare on Figuerola Labs "Equine Saver" about a month ago. The results were so dramatic I now have all 4 of my horses on it. A maintenance dose of 1 ounce cost about $1 a day if you only buy a 30 day supply. You can get it as low as $0.38 per serving if you buy the 25 lb containers.

I used to have my horse on this. I liked it. The horses liked it. And it was decent on the price.

I had my vet look at the label and she thought it was decent too.

I have since switched my horse to Platinum Performance CJ because of his specific joint problems, and it is SO expensive. But I like it. I'm going to start my 3-year-old on either Equine Saver or T.H.E. Muscle Mass .... because I don't feel like he "deserves" the cost of the PP CJ yet!
