Location: Washington. (The DRY side.) | Bay or brown with NO WHITE. I used to have a pasture full of Bays and browns with little to no white. Now I have 2 sorrels with flaxen manes, a bay with a star, a bay roan and a gray. At least the bay roan mare has NO WHITE. |

Location: Southwest Minnesota | I prefer horses of color. By that I mean Appaloosas and Paints. If I had to choose a solid colored horse for myself it would be a blue roan. But, in my pasture I have a Bay, a grey, and a sorrel QH, A chestnut appaloosa with a big blanket, and a black and white overo paint with blue eyes. |

I always think shes going to get lighter as time goes on but she hasn't in the years Ive owned her! I love a dark grey too

| I have never had a great horse that was a bad color. LOL
It depends on what discipline we are doing.
For hunters/equitation: a dapple grey with very defined dapples
Barrel Racing: black or bay with no white, or a BIG sorrel with lots of chrome- either a deep red or a flaxen mane/tail
Dressage: dark, seal bay with no white or liver chestnut with flaxen mane/tail AND lots of chrome
Western Pleasure: LOUD!!! paint, Appaloosa, palomino, or buckskin- even cremello or perlino
Flying: Lavender with Royal blue mane, tail, and wings.

Love your mare! Not just that color but that booty too!
I am a sucker for a little stocky buckskin or bay. Or a nice looking roan. |

But color is just color. Had an ugly appy that I loved, he started as a bay shed out into an appy. After him, color just doesn't matter. |

| I love my plain sorrels! Looking at my pasture, I have 2 bays, 2 grays, 7 sorrels, and I managed to get a chromed up palomino last year (thanks, Chasin Firewater, I was really wanting a chromed up sorrel, but I guess I'll take the yellow horse) :) |

But I've never had either. I've had 2 bays, 2 chesnuts, a brown(black with brown muzzle), a paint and a sorrel, a light buckskin and he looked chesnut but was getting lighter and lighter but we sold him. I wonder what color he turned into.

| I love paints, they are just pretty to look at. You couldn't pay me to own another Leopard Appaloosa. I will consider a solid or blanket app as long as it is 99% quarter horse lines.
I really hope when we breed the solid mare in my profile picture, that she throws a very flashy buckskin paint colt, but with our luck, we will get another solid. If it's a solid buckskin or palomino, I won't be too upset. (Sire we are looking at is buckskin tobiano, only nT though). Haha |

Currently I have a bay with a fair amount of white, a red dun with a star and a sorrel with a big blaze. |

Location: Washington | I have a few...I do like a big solid black with no chrome. Bays with LOTS of chrome, chestnuts with LOTS of chrome. I do like buckskins and palominos...but only the dark ones, not a big fan of the buttermilk cremes. And the chrome can be there but doesn't have to be. I also like Bay and Blue roans, I like them even better when they are chromed up.
So I like most colors....as long as they have some chrome. I love the chrome! |

| I love a chocolate palomino or a buttermilk buckskin....
However, because of the discipline I breed for, I doubt I'll ever own one. If by miracle of all miracles my black mare's chasin baby is colored il probably pass out lol! I don't keep babies though, so il own for a brief time.
I lovea deep dark bay...yummy!!! |
