| Three years ago, I faced a specific spiritual attack. Fear and what ifs threatened to grip my heart. Identity theft, will do that. As I read my daily scripture journal, I read Psalm 56:1-13, in this Psalm a man honest before the Lord. David had some big enemies, men who constantly oppressed, hounded, and fought him. they turned his words, thoughts about ways to harm him, and watched his every move. what misery!
But I noticed what David "chose" to do. Instead of complaining, retreating, or returning evil for evil, he lifted praised to God, in whom he had put his trust. vv. 4, 10, 12
Are you facing a situation that threatens to swallow you up? I encourage you to read this psalm aloud in prayer to God. David put his confidence in His Word. You can , too. We are in the hands of the Mighty One. We have nothing to fear.
they have someone in custody, its been over a 1 yr since I have had anything on my identity theft. pray it NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN. PRAISE GOD!!
Psalm 56: 9 When I cry to You, then my enemies will turn back; this I know because God is for me.
11 In God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?
13 For You have delivered my soul from death. Have You not kept my feet from falling, That I may walk before God In the light of the living?
