Do embryo transfer foals have to be registered to designate ET in any way? Just wondering. Personally feel that ET's are not 100% the mare you "think" you're getting. You also get DNA/blood/skin, personality traits of the carrying mare. I would hope there's some kind of designation on the ET's and knew you all could provide me with the answer!

So you are asking if there is mark by their name or something...which would be important to diffrientiate a foal carried by the actual mare?  As in a foal that was actually carried by Mulberry Canyon Moon might have more value to some that and embryo out of MCM.

All progeny reports from AQHA state: "Embryo Transfer, Genetic Typed" if the foal was from an et.

I agree and yes the papers will state if it is an embryo foal. Those babies will get any genetic behavior (lets face it, there are horses out there that pass down good and bad attitudes), but any learned behavior characteristics will come from the recip mare.
