I know this has been discussed in the past, but I'm wondering if there is anything new regarding which companies have the best coverages for the money?

I need to inquire about insurance on a horse I am going to lease out.

Thanks for any help!

Check the Who Insures their horse thread, some of the posts talk about who is good & who isn't!

I insured mine through my farm policy. It's only for something like if he would break a leg, get struck by lightening, etc..I got him insured for 25K and its very affordable. Major Medical is more expensive, but all depends on what you are wanting :)

We have had really good luck with www.horseinsurancenow.com, it is the Hartford Company for the insurance. Many variables so know what you want as it makes a difference.
