| Did a lot of you get a DVD from AQHA in the mail? I'm not very happy with them - maybe I'm just grouchy but don't send me something without me asking for it and then expect me to PAY for it. I have enough going on without having to go to the post office to return this! (There, I'm off my soapbox)! |

| HORSE & RIDER has done the same thing with a Julie Goodnight video to put the guilt trip on you to buy it.
In the second letter asking for the $16.95 monthly payment for a video each month it has a line in BLACK ..... THAT SEZ ...
IF YOU DID NOT ORDER THIS DVD THEN YOU MAY KEEP IT AS A GIFT ...................
(not an exact quote)
They know it is against the law and especially interstate mail ..... so .. plaster it over the net and whack AQHA over the head anyway you can .........
Including their stupid 5 panel DNA disease non-sense ......
FOLKS ... IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CARE OF YOUR HORSES !!!

Location: Lost with the rest of the MINIONS! | I got mine yesterday. It is a training DVD, they want $14 for it. BUT, I found on the Post Office's website that this is illegal nation wide, regardless of the state. If you did not request the merchandise, you have no obligation to send it back. You can toss it, mail it back, or keep it. I do intend on calling the customer service number on Monday and let them know what I think, though. |

| It came with an envelope that had the postage paid on it to send it back. It's just the fact that they sent something nobody ordered and guessed people would buy. It wasn't any big deal to send back - just a hassle to have to drive by a mail box. I honestly still can't believe they did that. |

| I called them right away after opening it. Chewed them out because I didn't want to have to make a special trip to town to mail it (I dont go to town alot). They assured me you do NOT have to send them back. You only pay if you wish to continue recieving the videos. I am hanging onto it just in case they try to bill me, but was on the phone with them for a good 5 minutes and they repeatedly told me I do not have to send it back I will not be billed. |

$14 for a video, and I read it if you dont send it back they will keep sending them to you and charge you for the ones you dont return. If you return them they are free?

Location: where the wind blows | I didn't get one but hearing this annoys the heck out of me. It cost a flipping fortune to go to AQHA shows and AQHA wastes how much money on this? Can't imagine the postage fees sending these out and return fees. Not to mention the AQHA website says I won an award in 2013 for the Justin Intermediate rider for my province. Says I won a buckle and boots. Have yet to see anything direct from AQHA on this. It's March. Instead of spending time mailing a dvd to people who didn't ask for it look after the people who support your shows. Just my vent. |

If you had kept it, they were going to do the "automatic" thing of sending you one every month or so and charge you full price. Reminds me of the "tape of the month" club they used to have in Sunday papers. |

It really ****es me off to receive unsolicited merchandise for which anyone expects to be paid. I received a request for payment in the mail earlier this week -- which I also tossed aside. The way I feel about it, anyone or any organization stupid enough to send out unwanted stuff is screwed. I am not wasting my time to send it back and I am not paying them. |
