| My husband has a job offer in Montgomery , TX area and just wondering what it it like. If we move I will have 25 ish head of horses to take so have to find a place ect. I will most likely leave most of them in Montana for a while until we knew if the job would work. Just curious I haven't been to this part of Texas. |

| I have not been there in years but it is a beautiful area. Diamonds and Dirt is going on right now in Bryan/College Station. (not far) Plenty of other barrel races in that area too. |

Location: west of East Texas | It's a lot warmer than Montana! ha ha It's growing by leaps and bounds but there is still country places around. There are rolling hills and lots of trees. Very pretty. There is usually a barrel race every weekend within an hour of there. The Lone Star Cowboy Church is big and dynamic. The covered arena has many events throughout the year. I am about 70 miles north of there and go to their races every chance I get. |

That is for sure and I am not looking forward to the heat. Montana has perfect summer weather winter not so much. I have lived in parts of Texas before just not in that direction. I am however looking forward to all the races I can go to. |

Location: Texas | You will like it. Just not the humidity during the summer. Lots of things to do or go. I live not to far. Montgomery is nice. Sure you will not have a problem find somewhere to put horses. When are ya'll coming down?

Location: La Porte, TX | Beautiful area! There are places to look that are not far of a drive that may be more affordable. Look North or West (away from Houston) and it will be less expensive. Even Navasota area isn't too far. Lot's of country road driving. Magnolia is nice too with lots of horse property but it's in the Houston direction so more expensive. |
