Anyone have any recommendations for trailer tires? Will probably go with Goodyear Marathon's but thought I'd check here for suggestions. 225/75/15 Load range D.
I think you need a lot more than load range D. I use only 14 ply on my trailer. I've used Goodyear G614 and the last set is a different brand but I can't say the name to save my soul. I fill with nitrogen too.

I run a shop and one of my customers had a double d trailer and had orginal tires load range e she was a little lazy and did not check her air had a blow out and the others had some, dry rot cracks she said she was not gonna haul more than 10 miles. Next nbha showmshe hauls and had blow out and calls me she get a tire it is a 12ply and i got her 3 to match. That is what i would do and at least buy 2 12ply tires. And in a couple months. My exiss 14foot lg 3 horse has 4 toyo 14 ply tires and if i replace them it will be with heavier tires. 16 ply. As it is 11,000 ew. They will last longer.
