There is a very long regime on rehabbing the horse, and I think it is 6 months before you can compete.
There needs to be a contrast study done prior to the injection to ensure there is no communication between the lower and upper joints. If there is communication and you inject with alcohol, the horse will have irreversible damage.
I have done laser, yes it is pricey, but it has more success rate, and your back and riding in 3 weeks. |
