With God all things are possible

Throughout , David's life he faced many trials and dangerous situations, and yet he never wavered in his faith and trust in God. We could well ask why God allowed His servant, "a man" 1 Samuel 13:14 says, "after His own heart" to got through all he did. But the same could be asked about Noah, Abraham, Job, Joseph , the disciples and others.
Could it be that God allows trials to grow us up and teach us to teach us to trust Him? Let's be really honest. When have your greatest times of spiritual growth been..........in the good times, or in the trials of life? Listen, if we never had problems, then we would never know that God could solve them.
David knew who his source of strength was. He knew the promise of God had made to him, and he knew the love that God had for him. We can see his cry for help and his confidence that that God would answer. He stood on the promises of God , and He decided to sing praises to His name forever. The more you know Him, the more you will trust Him.
Psalm 61:1-4 Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been shelter from me, a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings.
FOR IT IS WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE
HAVE A VERY BLESSED WEDNESDAY

Thank you, LJ! I believe David had "spiritual muscle" which was built up through his trials - his heavy burdens. Muscles are not built by picking up feathers but by picking up the heavy stuff and building strength as we go. David knew;however, that he had the best "spotter" in the World, God himself!
