It seems like run is the best. Lots of run if at all possible. I think Dash For Cash and Easy Jet are the best crosses it seems but I might be wrong. I have a daughter out of a Bully Bullion/Go For Bugs mare and I think she will have plenty of run her mother was AAA.
I have two...one out of a Jet Smooth/Johnny Dial mare and one out of a daughter of Shawne Bug. love them both! awesome horses to ride and be around! wish I had more FGs, lol........they are great!
If you plan on running barrels, I would definitely recommend a running bred horse. Most the time I like to keep the blood pure, either race or cow... but in his case I think it's good to put that run in there.
I have one out of a Packin Sixes daughter that has plenty of run. I have one due in April out of my Dash For Perks daughter it should have plenty of run lol. I would choose a racebred mare resale value is a lot higher as well.

ROYAL SHAKE EM would be the choice!!
Look at the FG's homepage and look at his battery of race bred mares they changed to around 2001 from their ranch type mares they had before. They knew to be competitive nation wide they needed more speed. Although they kept some cutter types for their production sale babies for folks that like that cross ...
Listen and watch closely when FG's are finalists with 50 of the top and fastest futurity horses in the nation with top dawgs riding them .... you can see how you need that speed running home to cut the clock off as you watch different pedigrees making their runs !!
ENJOY ... this is a fast moving video with a lot of money to be won !! Keep pen handy for horses names so you can use allbreed or google to find their pedigrees .... the first horse was a great disappointment to me knocking the first barrel ....
