I just ordered from http://www.carolinabit.com/index.htm
He was easy to talk to and my order should be here in a week! |

I own several L&W bits & love them. I also love Curt (Carolina Bit). He's more local to me and I've always heard great things about him from everyone. I've always had great luck with both. But lately I've heard of several people having some issues with L&W. Which I'm sure everyone has their issues at times
But I do prefer Carolina Bits. Curt is a big help in suggesting which ones to try too. They're just great to work with and super quick. |

Location: Florida | I left weekly messages with L&W for a month and never heard back from them. Ended up having to order from somewhere else. I hated doing that because they do support several big races here in Florida and I wanted to use them. But I couldn't wait forever for a return phone call. |

I recently bought the one you have pictured from Curt - Carolina Bit. He has it with several different mouthpieces also. I buy all my bits from him. |

| To all those thinking about ordering from L&W Bits---Be Forewarned- placing an order with them is like pulling teeth! The woman who answers their phone is as unhelpful as can be. I was made to feel like I was an imposition, not like a first time customer.
In the future, I wll order elsewhere. Avoid my experience and do the same. |

Location: Deep South | I have been very pleased with my purchases from Carolina Bits. The quality is super comparable to L&W and they are at my door within a week! I was a long time supporter of L&W, but like others it had gotten difficult to communicate and long wait times. |

Location: Ohio girl moved to PA | i love L&W ! i do agree that ordering is a pain though and whoever does answer the phone is kinda rude. They come to the Futurity we have up here in the spring and i normally stock up then but i understand needing other bits throughout the year obviously lol. Carolina was super quick at getting me my tie down i needed in a hurry, just sucks bc it rusted out so quickly where as my one from L&W still hasnt. |

Location: Smack Dab in the Middle | I have several Carolina bits that I absolutely love--though all were bought second hand so I can't speak of the ordering process. I have a couple of L&W's as well and prefer the weight and quality of the Carolinas. I have ordered from Shallow Creek Bits before and was VERY pleased with their service and turn-around time. |

I've always been very pleased with them but boy, this is sure no way to run a business! Maybe they need to get an answering service. |

Location: NC | Havent ever worked with L&W but i did order one from carolina bit. When i got it i realized it wasnt the exact bit i was borrowing. Sent pics thru text message of size of borrowed bit with tape measure next to it. And within a week shipped back other bit and got new bit. Quick and easy! |

Location: Tennessee | If you need to order a bit or have one made you need to contact Shallow Creek Bits! If they are in stock they usually ship that day! And Jan Wilson is over the top with customer service! They also have way more bits in stock than there are on the website. |
