Location: Is it Summer Yet? | Can you buy just the headstall? Anyone made their own out of rope? I had a horse bust mine, sent it to a leather guy last fall to get a new piece made, don't think I'm going to get it back. |

| I think Irvines has them
Depending on where you live,
Les Ertman can build them
Melissa Daines
Stephanie Romeo Fox
And I know there are many others it my mind is blank, Les is pretty fast good quality, Stephanie isn't doing as many custom orders, and not sure how buys Melissa is

Location: Where the pavement ends and the West begins Utah | If it is a sliding gag, you can use a pigging string, cut 14 inches from the loop. keep the loop, run end through bit and tie do the same with other piece and tie. with the loose end , unwind 8 inches and braid back, tie to loop as if a rope halter. If you have a full headband slide on the one end and add throat latch and your set. |
