Just wondering is there anyway to find papers on a paint?

My friend adopted a horse from a rescue 6 years ago and we were just discussing the other day what we think her lines could be for fun. She is an awesome little mare. I'm thinking she was registered at one point because she was being used as a broodmare along with 4 other broodmares and a stallion when she was seized. Its not crucial, something I thought I'd look into for my friend.

Being a broodmare doesn't necessarily mean she was registered. haha

Anyways, do you know the name of the person she was seized from? If so, then you can do an owner lookup, i believe, but that will only work if the papers were in their name.

"Being a broodmare doesn't necessarily mean she was registered. haha" so true, I guess if they neglect their horses they probably wouldn't give a dang if they weren't registered when breeding.

We tried getting the name of the people, but they couldn't release the information.
