My mare has recently been diagnosed by Dr Greg Ford with bone spurs in her coffin joint. We had them injected but I need to start her on a daily joint supplement. She's been on a shot that she gets every 3 weeks but I want her on something daily. What is everyone's opinions on Exceed 6 way? It's expensive and I really don't have the money but if it will help her then I will get it.

I haven't use that product but I used a product by med vet and was very happy with it.. Try SmartPak ...I think they have it and don't cost near as much as other providers. I has all the ingredients that would be expensive if bought separate.

I've also looked into Lubricyn and Cosequin but same thing, there expensive. I don't mind buying them if they will work but I don't want to spend $150 for a months supply and it not work. Dr Ford suggests the Exceed 6 Way but I want to know it works before I spend that much.

I've looked into Platinum before but I think it was pretty expensive too.
I've had lots of people switch from Platinum to THE and save money, with same/better results.
And I switched from THE to Platinum because I saw no results from THE. It all depends on the horse and the situation I think. I still use Platinum to this day, my horses look and feel great. Another option for you might be TLC Equi Bone.

I would go to the Smart Pak site and look at their Comparison chart. It has almost all of the different brands of supplements and what amounts of each item the supplement has.
I use Absorbine Flex Max. It has more of the important ingredients without the MOST important thing---Expense! Compared to some of the other supplements it's very cost effective and my horses gobble it up because it's in pellet form and they don't even know it's mixed in.
