Location: OK | If the horse is very free, like has a problem rating the turns, I almost never let them breeze around the pen. Everything I do is small work, stopping, roll backs, circles, squares. Small patterns at home. Get them thinking instead of running.
A ratey horse I like to work big patterns with no fences so there's no reason for them to get short. Breeze them. Send them past the barrels some. Never stop at the rate points. |
