OregonBR - 2014-03-24 10:30 PM Wasn't Brownie Jones by Pa Jones?
There are quite a few foals by BJ on allbreed. Many are colts.
Isn't your stud a grandson of Pa Jones. Brownie Jones wasn't all that spectacular, he just happened to be the last standing son of Pa Jones so Jud snached him up. Honors Abounding is probably the best option for that line.

12smitty - 2014-03-25 1:34 PM Google Firewater Fred Jones he stands at stud in Colorado . All his colts are athletic ,smart and can flat out fly !!!!!
Is he still alive? I was thinking about him not long ago, I tried to google him. Absolutely nothing came up. AQHA shows he hasn't had a registered foal in many years either. I thought maybe he had passed.
Thanks Whiteboy. Yes HAB is out of a very nice daughter of Pa Jones.

I know it's my opinion but I thought Brownie Jones was pretty impressive as a sire. He only sired 72 horses and out of that 72 I sure have seen a lot of them winning. :) jmo Seems like a pretty potent bloodline. Honors A Bounding has had 84 foals can someone tell me how his babies are? I have not heard of any, or maybe I have and didn't realize he was the sire. Would like to know more about him too. Thanks

Yes money can make a horse more recognizable, Jud seems to be able to do that. Brownie only has 7 foals with an official performance record. With the resources available, I would have liked to see more than 7.

I sent you a PM. If you'd like my help in finding video and information on his most recent kids competing. I can direct you to them. I just bought him in 2008. The first babies from mares here in Oregon are hitting the arena now. Some are in peoples pastures not being run but they won't sell them either. It's hard to fault them for loving them. Every once in a while someone finds one from before I bought him and they send me a picture. I wish more of them had made it to the arena.
