The Cavallo's are ok but if you can afford it go with Renegades. They are hands down the best boots on the market IMO!

Cavallos rubbed my gelding and didn't fit at all. I went with Renegades and loved them. You just gotta be careful if trail riding around streams with gravel. The small gravel will get in the boots. I got to try different boots with the barefoot trimmer I started out using. Not every boot will fit every horse. My so uses Swiss boots on his gelding. They are custom fit to your horses foot.

I walk trot and lope in mine straight lines bigger circles, everything except small circles and the barrel pattern.

I also have rode my horses in the mountains through rivers, on rock, gravel roads mud up to the knees never had a problem with the old macs.

The old macs have 2 different styles the original for more round foot, and g2 for more narrow in the heel and longer in the toe.
