They are hands down the best boots on the market IMO! Cavallos rubbed my gelding and didn't fit at all. I went with Renegades and loved them. You just gotta be careful if trail riding around streams with gravel. The small gravel will get in the boots. I got to try different boots with the barefoot trimmer I started out using. I walk trot and lope in mine straight lines bigger circles, everything except small circles and the barrel pattern. I also have rode my horses in the mountains through rivers, on rock, gravel roads mud up to the knees never had a problem with the old macs. The old macs have 2 different styles the original for more round foot, and g2 for more narrow in the heel and longer in the toe.
