Location: TExas | I have a saddle that is a little bit too wide for my horse. I have been looking at csi pads, wade pads and the classic zoom bag pad. What is the best corrective saddle pad that y'all have seen that works the best. My fiancé had a csi and it seems pretty nice. What is y'all's experienced with any of these pads. Thanks. |

Location: Somewhere between raising hell and Amazing Grace | I have successfuly used the corrector pad on several horses. I finally got to look at the CSI pads first hand last sunday and they look great. I will be getting a look at my first wade pad tomorrow. they are all expensive :) If the wade pad that gets here tomorrow won't work it will probably be for sale. |

| I love my biofit my horse was body sore due to,some soundness problems,but,he felt better due to biofit saddle pad. I would not hesitate to use some type of shim with the biofit. Sure made a,difference in my horse. |

Location: Stuck in a cubicle having tropical thoughts | I used a CorrecTor for a year until i found a saddle that fit my mare and stopped making her sore.
The saddle I had was to wide and it only took three rides before she was bucking, cow kicking and very back sore after a ride. I was able to ride her succesfully with the CorrecTor. She was still a bit cinchy while using it. I ended up getting a Martin Crown C on an impulse at Quarter Horse Congress and it fits her perfect and I've went back to using my wool Tod Slone pad. The CorrecTor has been sitting in the spare bedroom for a year now. I keep thinking I should sell it, but then I think what if I need it again for some reason in the future and then I'd have to buy another. I wouldn't hesitate to use a CorrecTor again. |

| Love the CorrecTor pad for these types of things.
I especially like the way you can customize it for each horse or situation and don't have to buy multiple pads. |

| CorrecTOR pad is what I used also. Worked great for a mare that was getting pinched at the wither until I found a saddle that fit. I have the envelope pad and the CorrecTOR insert part (white pad with plates) I rarely use the envelope, I don't like the fleece on the bottom. The insert works great with my regular pad, I just put it between the pad and saddle. |

Location: Midwest | I would first try a thicker pad if you are orginally using a thin one. Ex. use a 1" instead of a 1/2".
I also have a biofit that works well if the pad seems wide just in the gullet area. I am not using it anymore, so I might sell it, but I liked it. It just is too small size wise under my martin and looks a little odd. LOL
I am using shims right now with a crown c because my horse is incredibly pear shaped LOL. I have the classic equine shims. They are only 20 bucks. :) I use them with a 1" 5 star and it works very well. |
