Have any of you ever ridden in one? I'm looking for a cheap used saddle with FQHB and found this one online but would be buying sight unseen...

Does ANYONE know if these saddles fit a horse with wider shoulders?

Just bumping.  The Tex Tan saddles I've seen look nice but I don't know anything about them.

Always some caution when buying sight unseen. However, I have a friend that rides in one constantly and loves it. Her horse is 15.2 hands and stout with normal to high withers. It fits him fine. Seat looks similar to an Ammerman. If hers is ever for sale I would buy it. Solid, stout leather and solid made.

I ride in an older Tex Tan not sure of the model but I love it. Fits all of my horses great. I have a big gray sofa and it even fits her

A friend had one years ago and it was nice.  If it's been oiled regularly and the leather isn't rotten, you should be ok.
