| Late Tuesday night my Dashing Val mare had a Chasin Firewater filly! Little girl still has no barn name. She's a really light sorrel (peach?) color with a flaxen tail.

Since I've never owned a Palomino...I decided since her tail is pretty much white, and her face is a light sorrel...I'm sending her hair to UC Davis and they can tell me so I know for sure LOL!!!
I will say she's super sweet and very people friendly! |

Sigh, my Chasin Firewater is STILL not here. They say patience is a virtue, but sheesh.
Adorable baby! |

Adorable baby!
I know the feeling! This mare went 343, waxed at about 10am and foaled about 11:15-11:30pm (I quit looking at the clock). She could give lessons on being a broodmare :-)
I had a super fun name for a colt, but now I may use it on one of our other babies this year if they match gender/color requirements!
I've got 3 more I'm waiting on, then I can sleep again!!! Sleep is wonderful!!!! |

Chasin has been one of my favorite stallions since the first day I laid eyes on him back in 2005. Wish I wasn't so old as I would have loved to own something by him to run. |

| My Chasin filly was born sort of a peachy color, now as a yearling, she's what I'd call a platinum blonde :)

My mare is at 335 today. She foaled last time at 322 though. |
