You gave great updates but you totally suck at posting pictures of George.  For that you deserve 20 lashes with a wet noodle.

I didnt take it as flamed if that makes a difference. I did see a post just showed up of someone that was there. So she might have more details on this historical event.

Everyone is welcome! I just hope I don't regret doing it and get roasted on a spit. I saw too, people post that George was not there. But I feel like just because you did not see him does not mean he was not. I highly doubt he was wanting any attention at this sort of thing. And I will be the first to say I am sorry I was misinformed if he was not. But I know people like me just wanted to know what was happening because like I have posted before this is historical marker in the barrel racing world.

Oh cripes don't worry about the George thing.  He got more interest on BHW than the sale of Latte!

I was there, but did not see George. Now that does not mean he was not there. I got there kind of late and just found a place to watch from. There were probably 100 to 150 people there, interested spectators like me without the financial backer. lol

The runner up bidder was a lady from Louisiana.  She tried to bid 880 but the gavel was already going down.  I don't know her name, she said look at the bidders register if you want to know.  She did say she was not a barrel racer, just had horses.  George was not there, we asked a person that is friends with him.  Glad this part is over.  Now it's up to the judge to determine dispersal of funds.

She paused too long, it was fast but he gave her the opportunity.  That's the difference in a sherriff's sale and a big consignment sale I guess.

Jan, I was there, my friend went and ASKED her who she was and who she represented, what I said above is what she said.

Weren't you (I think it was you, bright yellow shirt/jacket), speaking to her? If so, you know her story, unless you were just being friendly........

In the video there's a lady in pink that's pretty small standing next to a big guy, they were standing right next to the lady on the phone. Looked like Carlee to me but my old eyes might have been playing tricks on me too.
