| So last night I got "the look" from my gelding who i have owned since he was 4 months old because he had to spend the night outside. We have had so much rain his stall flooded. He literally had a look of panic that he would be OUTSIDE in the DARK. Granted he was outside with another mare and they have a 30x30 run in shed to get out of the rain BUT it was still outside. He literally did not know what to do. I walked out the barn thinking what sort of monster have I created. I wispered to him that there are horses who have to spend all winter outside too.  |
