I know, another one of these, but this is for my sister.
She is looking into breeding her mare in the next couple years and is looking for opinions on studs for her. She uses her for everything. Sorting/penning, trails, shows, but mostly rodeo and o-mok-see. In the last couple years she has really been proving herself as a hard running, tough mare with a lot of heart and try. She's built like a brick house (HUGE hip, really balanced with bone to spare) and is about 14.3. She's had one colt (which belongs to me) that was by a cutting stud and my sister wants to breed for a barrel prospect this time around.
Here is her pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/mochas+west+cove+angel
She wants to keep her bone, big build, and level headed disposition but add more height and speed. She's tends to be really ratey and turny.
Opinions on studs or bloodlines she should look into? Thanks!

I wouldnt even really worry about it untill she decides to breed her that comming year. Stallions can die and new ones come on the scene. Untill then she should just keep her eye out at the races and the horses she likes, find out who they are by and watch the stats each year to see how they are all doing. Becides of which, peoples financial picture can change so what she can afford now, she may not be able to in a couple years.
