Location: California | Does anybody have a horse there, know any of the trainers, or go there kinda often??? I sold an Arabian filly last summer who I was just told is at Fonner Park in race training. I lost the owners number and i'm digging for it but I was just curious if anybody has seen her... That was one of the hardest sales I've ever done. |

Yes, last it knew they only ran TBs there, but she might be a pace pony there. Hastings (just a few miles south) used to race Arabians, but I'm not sure they even run there anymore. |

Location: In Husker Land | Far as I know it is only thoroughbreds racing. We usually go there a couple times during race season. They only run Friday-sunday. In laws went yesterday..sad day..horse collapsed at the finish line and died :( we usually go Derby weekend. |

| They used to run Arabs at Anthony Downs here in Ks - one of the jocks pulled out a book and acted like he was reading down the backstrech (because they are a lot slower than Quarter Horses obviously) - he got a fine! |

Didnt say they were on barrels or anything... Simply said the ones i had met or owned in straight away races have been quicker the the qhs around. Never said they could out run every single qh out there. |

Location: North Central South Dakota, west of the Might Mo | They also race Arabians at Arapahoe Park outside of Denver. You can look up workouts of all breeds from most of the tracks across the country on Equibase at this link:
http://www.equibase.com/static/workout/index.html?SAP=TN
If you lose the link, go to "equibase.com" then clink on "entries" and select "workouts". You can also use Equibase to look up your mares name, and it'll show owner, trainer and jockey as of her last race.
Good luck,
BHR |

That's where I was told she would be come summer to start her race career. I was talking to our vet so they may have meant she's just in Grand Island being trained and not actually at Fonner Park maybe...
Thank you for that info! |
