We are planning to go to the Western Heritage Classic in May, but since it is graduation weekend too all semi-decent hotels are fully booked at this time. Any suggestions in surrounding towns that have hotels?

A really cool place to stay is Perini ranch in Buffalo Gap which is 20 or 30 min south...they have a couple guesthouses on the ranch straight out of a magazine...not to mention the great food at the restaurant... if abilene is fully booked closest would be sweetwater or clyde or merkel but not sure you will want to drive that far or what may be available...

Thank you - I looked at their web site earlier. Very cute place. This might be closer than Sweetwater..?!?

Oh yes way closer than sweetwater like half he distance or less with no traffic...I know there are other bed n breakfasts in Buffalo Gap but theirs is really great
