I know Previcox/Equioxx and have had results with Previox pills. However, my vet mentioned the IV usage of Equioxx. He says administration is 5cc's IV for up to 5 days, and he has seen results last 5-6 months.

I just read up on it and would like to know where your vet is getting his info, as a European study giving iv Equioxx for 14 days the last detected plasma level was 7 days after the final administration.
This was from the European Medicines Agency
The US food and drug administration says the half life is 30-40 hours post treatment.
