 Ok, question about the liners

Are they made of the same material as the pads?

I am thinking of buying the liner to use with my 1/2" instead of buying the 3/4", since I'm not sure if that is exactly what I want just yet. I'd PM Rockyroad, but I'm not sure she is on here all the time anymore.

Thanks!

I was always told they're better when not used with a liner- & just regular cleaning

I'm here :)   The liners are not the same composition/rating as the pads - they are the same as Slones, Wrights, BE, etc - the F15.  Here is the link to what they say about them on their website.  I do sell quite a few but have never used one - or actually seen one in person.  (I prefer just my 5 Star against my horses' backs

That's sort of how I feel too- Thank you!

I think I will try throwing a navajo blanket over top the pad, if that doesn't work I will prob be in touch to order one.

I swear, I have 4328433588 pads but never the exact one I need LOL!

I dont mean to steal the thread here, but just for curiosity's sake- what thickness do you prefer to go under a saddle that fits pretty well? My husband is a calf roper so he uses a big thick 5 Star, and I just got a half inch, but I used to use an inch thick pad and the half just feels so thin compared to it. I'd love some insight!

I have different thickness in my 5 stars but I really like my 3/4 pads they fit really nice under my good fitting saddles. .

If your saddle fits good, I would not go any thicker than the 3/4" or you run the risk of a too tight fit & potential pressure/sore areas (this is with a good pad, like a 5 Star - since you are not going to have the "squish" factor).

I personally have two 5star liners I use, they are probably 3+ years old and love them, I use them under my 5star pads and Wade pad. Well worth the money in my opinion.
