She (I) bumped the second barrel last night, but almost won herself a little jackpot. Only 30 horses, but after everything this horse has been through, I'm proud of her anyway! I've had her since she was just 2, my mom had her before that. I NEVER had expectations of her being a 1D horse, and there were times that being a nice 2D horse seemed an ambitious goal for her. She's came back from a stifle rupture, and then EPM. Just over two weeks ago, she made her first 1D run at a big race (18th out of 212) and then made this nice little run (on kinda crappy ground) last night. She's gaining confidence and speed, and it just excites me to no end!
