With God all things are possible

| As believers in Jesus Christ, we will be spared this time of Jacob's Trouble, but what Christian alive today doesn't believe those days can't be far off?
If you read the paper or catch up the news on tv, or online, it's pretty easy to conclude that our world is growing more and more corrupt each day. The words of David in Psalm 64 could just as easily be today's headlines; regularly we hear of "secret plots," rebellion" bitter words and "shrewd scheme" vv 2=3-6 Today, as in David's day, the offenders believe they are hidden and invulnerable, but we know that judgment is certain. God's delay is not His approval. His timing is perfect, and a day is coming when God will deal with all 'workers of iniquity"
The key phrase in this psalm is found in verse 9; " All men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God " We know the day is coming when every knee will bow before God and confess His Majesty Phil 2:9-11 Some will confess Him with jubilation and adoration, while others with consternation and condemnations. I know which camp I'm choosing!
Even though I can't wait for that day, I've started the celebration already by bowing my knee daily and worshiping Him with a heart of gratitude and expectancy. I'm going to be "glad in the Lord, and trust in Him. THAT'S GLORY!

Psalm 64:1-10 Hear my voice , O God , in my meditation; Preserve my life from fear of the enemy. Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, form the rebellion of the workers of iniquity, who sharpen their tongue like a sword, and ben their bows to shoot their arrows, bitter words. That they may shoot in secret at the blameless; suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear. They encourage themselves in an evil matter; they talk of laying snares secretly; They say, Who will see them?" They devise iniquities; "we have perfected a shrewd scheme" Both the inward thought and the heart of man are deep. But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly they shall be wounded. So He will make them stubble over their own tongue; all who see them shall flee away. All men shall fear , and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider His doing. The righteous shall be glad in the Lord ,and trust in Him. And all the upright in heart shall glory.
For it is with God all things are possible.
