Location: South MS | I have a mare that tore her joint capsule in rear fetlock a few years back - we are constantly dealing with this and it swelling up every now and then - we rest for a few months and try again - I was wondering if there is something supplemental wise that might could help us try to avoid re-injurying herself in addition to rehab
Also, I leave her turned out alot - basically comes in to eat and goes back out - would it be better for her to stay in her stall more?
Do BOT track products really help? |

| Have you xrayed lately? I suspect arthritis, bone spurs, something along the lines.
I am a firm believer in BOT had a mare cut her hock, her leg swelled up, put a quick wrap on, within hours all the swelling was out of her entire leg, hock included. She wore it for 6 months continuously, as if I took it off her leg was swollen in 30 min, put it back on, swelling went away |

| I really like smart tendon from smart pak, I can tell a difference in my horse when I have her on it. Its pretty cheap also, you can get a 60 day supply for around $50. |
