I am looking for advice and information on barrel races/rodeos in the Idaho area. I am looking to relocate to boise this spring from Minnesota. I have been to boise but am unsure of what's out there for a barrel racing community. I also am looking for any suggestions on places to board my horses. Any barrel trainers or people out in the area I would love to chat and get any info. Thanks!!
I lived out there about 10 yrs ago and lOved it. Unfortunately I am. OT much help for current info but there were two amateur rodeo associations that I ran with. They also had a fair amount of barrel racing but most was out toward meridian and Caldwell if I remember right.

Boise has a great horse community and I can usually find a race almost every weekend. every weekend if I'm willing to travel just a bit.

One thing I can tell you for sure.... Boise is properly pronounced Boy-See... Not Boy-Z... Just like the 'S' on the end of Illinois is silent... The locals there set me straight right away!!
