Location: Small Town Iowa | I just got married last Tuesday and yes it was April fools day. We are done with the reception (Saturday). So now we are starting to look at ideas for a honeymoon. My husband hauls grain and anhydrous and I spend all summer at shows and riding the bikes. So we're not looking at traveling until next winter. I am just wondering if anyone has any great ideas for a honeymoon, we're kinda stumped. Thanks from an old married hag |

Location: mi | Husband and I are celebrating 20 years at the NFR in December. Our preference would of been Hawaii but that was just not in the budget yet. Maybe at 30 years. |

| I'd go the NFR in Vegas. We went a few years ago and it's awesome! |

| Hit up the cruise that runs from Seattle to Alaska. Its fabulous and a once in a lifetime thing.
NFR is cool if you've never been - Vegas with cowboy hats is pretty awesome.
Disneyland is great and winter is more of an off season thing ... if you can wait, go in February - we did and there were next to NO LINES!
If you love snow, splurge on a cabin somewhere in Vail or Aspen. Again, its a once in a lifetime thing to have your own cabin, fireplace and hot tub/jacuzzi in the snowy mountains :)
Fall in the NE is great too ... we took an anniversary trip to Main and then hopped a plane to see friends in Vermont - the maple syrup festivals are fun too!
Good luck planning!!

Location: Small Town Iowa | Thanks everyone. That helps, because all we had as an idea was New Zealand for 15 days. I just want something else to throw out there on the table. The NFR is sounding like it might kick New Zealand out. Hmmmm. |

| Also, for your gear head hubby, Nascar week is also in Vegas at the same time as the NFR. It's the Nascar awards banquet and stuff. |

I'd need to know if you are a hot air type or like the outdoors in the winter too.
There is Banff In canada its absolutely stunning at any time.

If you want a break from the cold weather though, somewhere warm.... maybe try Marti Gras in New Orleans. |

Location: Small Town Iowa | The land of the kiwi is definitely a bucket list of mine. We are very adventurous and he's been there before so I was trying to put other options out there so I don't seem like I've already decided. |

| we went to Bryce Canyon and Zion for our honeymoon. It's pretty in pictures but it is BREATHTAKING in real life. We even convinced one wrangler (one of the Wright Brothers' in-laws) to take us on a trail ride. It was the off season in November (I HIGHLY recommend going in the off season) and it was just us and him. We stayed in this little cabin...it was FUN! Something off the beaten "honeymoon" trail...and not that far from Las Vegas, either. |

Location: Montana | I have no idea as I've not been married, but congratulations! Maybe the Grand Canyon...then you could hit the NFR as well...or vice versa.
