On another thread a gal had mentioned having the WERM flooring in her horse trailer rather than rubber mats. I pulled up their website to check them out and I really like the look/sound of it. And it just so happens one of their dealer's is only like 5 miles from where I work.

I'm just curious who all had this flooring, how you like it, how its held up, price, etc.

Thanks!

I want it!!  I hear it's great but never had any experience with it. I know some people still put mats on top. I like that it protects the floor from pee

My current trailer does not have it. But have hauled in several that did. Would not order a new one with out it. It is awesome! I would suggest you go down and have it priced out. I know I would on my current trailer if there was a dealer within a few hours of me.

I love it.  So easy to keep clean.  I recently had to repair mine.  They sent me a kit for $50 and we repaired the spot.
I'll never have another trailer without it.

Those of you that have it, do you have a stud divider? Does it interfere with it?

It does not interfere with the stud divider.  It's about the same thickness as matts would be.

Put it in you will never regret it. We had bought a brand new trailer and put it in. It was wonderful, easy to clean and no pulling out heavy mats. Well not even a year later we traded trailers and back to pulling heavy mats out. Uuugh!

Bought a new trailer about 10-12 years ago. WERM was a new thing and the dealer suggested it.  We opted to have it installed, added about $1,000 to the cost of the trailer.  Best money ever spent!

We've not regreted for one mintue having to pull mat's out of as 4 horse trailer!

Guess I will be the only nea-sayer. Was quoted $1500 on a 4 horse LQ with mangers last month. For $1500, I can take the mats out a lot of times.

I haven't experienced it, but have seen several internet posts questioning how long it lasts and what it does to the floor. Seen several posts that they believe that the floor is being damaged under the WERM from the Urine. No documentation ever provided so ????

Might change my mind after wrestling with the mats for the umptith time. .....

If we paid 1k 10-12 year's ago, what would you expect to pay now?
You can just keep on pulling stinky mats.

Doesn't do a dang thing to the floor of the trailer.  WERM seals the floor, it's about half inch thick!

I have been considering putting it in because my husband wants me to wash the trailer out after every use and doing the mats by myself is a pain. My biggest hold up is how do you inspect the trailer floor? I am a worrier and not being able to check the floor scares me a bit especially beings this isn't a brand new trailer.

My husband crawls under our trailer periodically and looks at the floor from the underside.  I have rubber lining the sides of my trailer and the werm floor was troweled in flush with it so there isn't any cracks for any urine or feces to work it's way into.  Pawing hasn't effected it either.

Had it, didn't like it. I too have heard of damage occurring underneath and you have no idea until you have a disaster. If you do it, I would only do it to a new floor. You don't want to risk putting it on top of a spot that is already about to corrode. I just prefer being able to see my actual floor so I know what shape it is in.

I've had mine mine for 10 yrs. and I love it!!  I did have one spot that gasoline had leaked on and the WERM bubbled and deteriorated.  The dealer replaced that area and it's good as new.
