AQHA? It was 21 days for one mare, 24 days for the other. Days counted from the date I ordered the test, received kit and pulled mane hairs, mailed to UC Davis, and finally received the results in the mail.

FOREVER! It took 4 WEEKS just to get the kit from AQHA. Then another 3 our 4 WEEKS to get the results. This was all AQHA. I mailed the sample to UC DAVIS on Thursday, they received it the next Monday and had the results to AQHA by that same Friday. IMO, your best bet is to call AQHA 10 to 14 days after you mail the kit and get the results by phone.

When we did Dazzler it only took about 3 weeks total. I got the test kit right away, sent the hair in right away, and about a week later I got the letter from AQHA stating he was N/N for all 5 genetic diseases. I just sent the hair in on our other stallion and 2 of our donor mares a couple of weeks ago and they are slower this time around as I haven't got my letter yet. I have heard you can call into the office to get the results sooner.

Ok just wondering :) I'm at about 2-3 weeks. For PSSM i'm not sure they have linked any particular lines for sure. That's the one i'm mainly concerned about. Seems to be cropping up a lot more.
