I was reading a saddle ad a bit ago and it was a Circle Y Tammy Fischer treeless saddle. They said in their ad that you are supposed to buy one saddle seat size up (like if you fit a normal 15 1/2, you buy a 16 1/2) when you buy treeless. Is that true? I hadn't heard that before. I'm not in the market for a saddle (treeless or treed) but if that is so, what is the reasoning behind it? Thanks!
Because the treeless will form/shape to the horses back so this will make the seat a little smaller/tighter, this is what I have found when I used a treeless.
