I was confused about it too!
I've read all the books so it's neat seeing it. My husband read the first 3 books (they're pretty slow and he's pretty ADD) so we watch it together but if there aren't boobs on a regular basis, he's snoring beside me! He swears I'm Cersei.
I love Jaime but I miss his longer hair! To me, he looks EXACTLY like Prince Charming from Shrek. I swear, they HAD to have modeled the illustration after him! |

I was under the impression in the books he was supposed to give you the heebie jeebies? maybe I just read it wrong ... oh well!
Arya is my FAV by far and away too ... I LOVE her character in the books and how she develops ...!! This show makes me do a happy dance and steal the TV from the SO! :) |

Lol I'm inconsolable, he was a swauve hunk LOL.
As for Jamie I like him better with the short hair. I haven't read the books, I'd love to, but I have so little time. I'm dying to know more and I'd like to read ahead but wouldn't want to miss things by not having read the first 3 books. |

| Ok well I like the old guy better! When i was watching the season premier I saw the bearded guy trying to woo Dany and I kept thinking "who is this". Still my favorite show though. |

I also believe he is related somehow to the priest she will meet across the sea where she learns how to change her face like he did. I'm dieing here waiting for the next book!!!   |

Oh Komet... I never thought of that angle with Arya and the dance instructor....interesting..... I had all sort of ideas about Jon Snows mother, much more scandalous, than the book leads you to believe. My idea was that he was actually the son of Eddard's sister and Robert Baratheon and she died giving birth to him, then Eddard took him and raised him as his own, as Robert didn't know about him. I figured since she was "highborn" it wouldn't be accepted for her to have a child out of wedlock. I was pulling for Jon and Daenerys to get together somehow
I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next book to come out too!! I'll preorder on my Kindle as soon as I can, and I've never been that excited for a book to come out lol! |

Oh yes! They have never truly got around to explaining what exactly happened to Lyanna . What I am dying to know of course is what about John Snow?!?! As for Dario Naharis, I thought the first on was a hottie and the new one is ehh, but neither one is similar to the Dario in the books. |

ETA: I went back and looked and it seems there have been a few Targaryen that did not have the blond hair and purple eyes (those still had one or the other, just not both) So it is a possibility and they make it sound like Lyanna didn't care for Robert so that kind of dispells her sleeping with him. I think the promise Ned had to keep was so Robert wouldn't slay Jon when he learned he was Lyanna's with Rhaeger. They are very careful when Ned talks to/of Jon he says Jon is of his blood, he doesn't say my son. So I think Jon is Lyanna's not Neds but the father is the question.
