I did several searches before posting this and am not coming up with much - if anyone is able to search and locate a past informative thread please post it here I would love that help!

FI and are needing to put up fence from scratch. I've never done this before as I've always boarded or had fence already up at the places I've rented.

We are getting married in September and just buying a house so not a whole ton of money to spend (if we did we would be putting up vinyl! lol)-- any input is greatly appreciated - it will just be for one horse.

I have no idea where to even begin! A past thread I found suggested this: http://finishlinefence.net/?gclid=CIy03P-A0r0CFQ5gMgodJiMA2A

Seems cost effective enough? Any other ideas? Metal posts or wood posts? Combination of both? It's a small area we're fencing - will be two pastures approx 30x80 or so.

I just installed RAMM Hotcote fencing with vinyl coated, recycled pvc core posts. No insulators to buy (then break, then replace LOL). We installed it over the weekend, super easy to put up and definitely cost effective. It looks really nice too. Shame on me, I havent taken pictures of it yet.
