| I know there have been a lot of these threads lately and that it depends on my area, etc, etc..
In general, what would you pay for a 4yo mare, well broke with all of the "buttons" a barrel horse should have (moves off of leg, sidepasses, spins, arc/counterarc), high loping the pattern, basically just ready to be finished and hauled? No big or popular names on her papers, but comes from locally well known proven 1D/rodeo horses.
Thank you for your input!

Location: Southeast Louisiana | I would need more info to make a decision, but six months of training would be around $4500, so I'd say at least that. If she had more hauling, and I really liked the way she rode, I'd go up from there. But, if you can see she's still high loping, I would tend to think she has a while before she figures out how to handle higher speeds. And you could run into many more problems along the way. How are her times just loping? Also, think of what else is important to you, such as her temperament or ground manners, or if she is an easy keeper, etc. she's worth whatever you're willing to spend for the right fit.
