Location: Kansas | I have ridden several Holy Barts and love them. I currently have a Streaking Ta Fame and love her she is unbelievably smart and never was messed with much. Would love to have a Lions Share Of Fame, Born Ta Be Famous, Eddie Stinson, Woodbrige, Firewater Ta Fame.....etc etc. I don't think you can go wrong on any the DTF line will live on and on. They are great top or bottom of pedigree!! |

Brother Is was also one of my favorite picks. I really hated to hear of his passing in the barn fire that occurred in Louisiana. Hate he never really got to prove himself. |

I believe they have another full brother of the same age, Gun Battle, a gelding, who won the All American Futurity. |

Location: Where I am happiest | I have seen a couple Eddie Stinson colts at the futurities this year that are super nice! I have also seen a couple John Fame colts that are super nice also. Mel Potter bred quite a few mares to him also. A friend of mine bought one of those fillies from Potter's and is running it in the futurities this year and she is super super nice! Lyndee Stairs trained the horse for her and liked her so much she is breeding to John Fame this year also. He is probably without a doubt the best deal on the planet right now as his stud fee is only $500. |

His offspring are bringing BIG BUCKS at the top sales though. He is a good investment... |

His colts are averaging 13,000 at the spring sales. So 1500 investment verses 13,000 return..... sounds pretty good to me. |

That's good to know.... I think he's pretty, but I think if it were my own mare I'd look for something proven himself for that money. That's my opinion only. I don't think the fact that he's not proven doesn't mean he won't have great colts it's just a personal preference. |

Location: Crowder, OK | LSOF just becauase Ive had two and both have been best minded, best dispositioned, big footed, big boned babies Ive ever been around or had. Its really unreal how easy they are to be around and mess with. I have been highly impressed. he has several babies that are already proven and Im certian there will be many more. If I had to choose another, I would go w/Eddie Stinson or Firewater To Fame because they have colts already proven as well. there are several good sons of DTF out there.....I have heard and please this is just barrel racers talking bloodlines and brains, but Ive heard alot of peeps say that the grandget of DTF have better minds.......I cannot say that I know this for a fact because Ive only had one own son of DTF and two grandget of him....... |

| One of the best sons of DTF that nobody has mentioned is Famous Bugs. He has one of the best producing mothers in the barrel horse industry, he is proven performer, and has already proven himself as a producer when his first foal crop ran through the arena last year. With multiple finalists at Old Fort Days and OKC. |

I've never owned an own son or daughter of DTF, but I'd heard plenty of stories about their minds so I was staying away from breeding to one of his sons. A couple of years ago I bred a mare to Famous Bugs, and the colt we got has an excellent mind. He's only a yearling, but from the get-go he was very friendly and willing. He was turned out to pasture after weaning, and I gathered him last week and picked up right where we left off. Very level-headed. So I don't know if this is true for all grand-get, but with my limited experience it is! |

What about Phame that Bo Hill has as well?? I think he has more in earnings, but haven't heard anything about his babies. |

Location: In gods country | Not sure about staying away from them. I've got a daughter that is coming 4 and she is the most amazing thing I've ever had the privilege to swing a leg over!! She is amazingly talented, the most willing, quiet, low headed, SUPER athletic and the easiest to teach anything too. I'd literally take a barn full of them. I had heard the same thing so when she hit the ground I made it my mission that she would NOT be like that. She is not and probably opposite of most DTF. So I think it depends on how they are raised. I had my hands on her from birth tho.
