Location: Up and over to the right | Can anyone recommend a roping/cutting/barrel trainer in the northeast?
I'm willing to trailer a few hours, I just need to get away from the psycho jumpers in my town.
You can message me or just throw out a few names/numbers/websites

Location: Up and over to the right | MD is a bit far as are some of the Finger Lakes. I might take a ride with a farrier up to Binghamton where he has a few horses in training. |

| Are you looking more for a barrel trainer or a cow horse trainer? To take lessons or to actually send your horse for training? I'm from right near Binghamton. I for one would be more likely to trailer my horse farther south if I were to send one for training but if your more of a beginner just looking for someone to get your horse on a good pattern or for lessons, I know a few people in PA and NY depending on where you are. I don't know too much about roping or cutting but I could ask around. |

Larry Kuyper in Elkton MD. He has a reining background and is a rated USTPA rider. Super nice guy and will put a great handle on your horse.
Also, to the OP. Steve Imes in Augusta NJ is supposed to be a good barrel trainer. I have not used him personally but have friends that do and they love him. |
