Location: South Dakota | We just purchased a GORGEOUS grey daughter of Dash For Perks x Disco Jerry who is a maternal sister to First Down Dash. Her name is First Silver Rose and she has a 95 speed index. Thinking of breeding her to Epic Leader, A Streak of Fling or Judge Cash. Opinions as to what would be the most sought after? Thanks for your input!!! |

| I think epic is still a gamble at this point, and one that could certainly pay off. The safe choice is ASOF. JC is always a good option but doesn't seem to command as high of selling price as ASOF. |

| I bred my DFP to daughter to FG last year and breeding her back to Slick By Design. But out of your choices I would say ASOF depending on the mares conformation |

Location: Desert Land | I have a Dash For Perks daughter out of a Disco Jerry daughter. She is currently at the vet being bred to Dash Ta Fame. I will probably breed her to Slick by Design, Chasin Firewater or A Streak of Fling next year. |

Location: Deep South | I am contemplating leasing a DFP mare to breed to FWOTR. He's a hot choice since his phenomenal performance at the American.
I haven't crossed Chasin Firewater off the list though. His babies are going up in value.
Of your three choices listed I'm the biggest fan of Epic Leader. Like someone else mentioned he's the biggest gamble, but could potentially payoff the highest also.
ASOF is a safe choice.
I personally prefer Jude Cash as a broodmare sire. I think own daughters of his are more valuable than sons.
Congrats on your latest acquisition!

Location: South Dakota | Thanks For the input! Wish I had enough money to pull embryos out of her and breed to all of them. Judge is getting up there in age and I really like him. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the studs mentioned though. Has anyone seen Firewater Canyon in person and if so what do you think? |

Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | I agree with the safe choice being ASOF. Firewaterontherocks is another safe choice imo. Those are the two I would look at. |

| Wow! She is super nice. With EL or JC, you could get a homozygous grey. That would be cool for future breeding. |

She's ugly... Send her to me so you don't have to go see her daily
I agree with ASOF... but the homozygous grey would be a cool feature too. |

I made up a poem about this: uhm (to clear my throat)
Say what you mean,
Mean what you say,
Double check twice,
Because it's gonna stay!
I have a field full of sorrels and bays.... and one grey. I have a soft spot for them but they don't stay grey long... usually she ends up a nice crapy brown/green colour. |

| Also, Yes I saw Firewater Canyon in person, holy cow hes huge, super impressive!!! Hes very well built and nice to look at even as a 2yr old, made me go home and be depressed looking at my 2yr olds LOL. He seemed like he had a really nice temperament, but I literally just stood in his stall with him for a few minutes. |

| Uh Oh, I wrote a whole post on how I have a DFP x DISCO JERRY Mare as well, but I have no clue where it ended up!! I would like to stick with FWF lines. Perksontherocks is a nice horse to watch, and that is a FWOTR X DFP daughter. Out of your choices, I think I would go with ASOF. I either really like what he puts out or really dont and my luck I wouldn't get what I wanted lol!! |

Location: Purcell Ok | I bred my Dash For Perks daughter to MP Jet To The Sun and hopefully by the end of this week I can tell you how nice that cross is! She will more than likely be bred back to ASOF. So I vote ASOF! Awesome mare by the way! |

Location: Down South Mississippi | I'm gonna be the odd one out here and say no to ASOF. I see so many for sale and they're either not pretty or ugly, lol! Love JC, and like you said he's getting up there in age. What if you had a filly by that cross?! That would be fabulous. Also, I would say FWOTR, Firewater Ta Fame, & Chasin Firewater. Just my 2 cents! |

Location: South Dakota | Thanks everyone. Think We'll go with JC this year because of his age. Hopefully ASOF and EL will be around for a long time yet. Slick and FWOTR in the future as well!!! |

| Remember, Scotty does the NFR special for about 1/2 the normal fee on JC during the NFR. That will be an awesome foal. Good luck! |
