Location: Central Texas | Snazzy was brought into my life by one of my most amazing friends back in 2008. We trained him to run barrels, and enjoyed life together for 3 years. I ended up selling most of my horses in 2011 (I think?). Instantly regretted selling this boy, tried almost immediately to get him back. The people I sold him to fell off the face of the earth. I never stopped searching, and neither did my friend. She found him for sale on Craigslist a week ago. Finally managed to arrange to bring him home and got him here tonight!  At some point in the last 8-9 years, Snazzy has had a severe accident. I do not know exactly what it was. I was told a reason for his condition, but I’m not sure the story fits the injury. I am going to be seeking an equine lameness specialist for an evaluation. Snazzy can barely stand, and walks circles due to hind end malfunctions. He cannot put weight on his back legs evenly (visible in this photo). I pray I can make him comfortable until his last days. I pray those days are long and plentiful, and he is spoiled properly. I’m just thankful Snazzy is home. ?? |

Even tho you can see those back legs are "off, " he still looks good. Please keep us updated on what you find out. I've been thinking about your and his story today, and I'm praying for y'all to have a good outcome for many more years. |
