In 2013 he was the #102 top racing broodmare sire. With just less than $200K in earnings. As a comparison, Mr. Jess Perry had over $8.1 Million and was the leading broodmare sire for the same year.

How many raced for each? Who were they out of? And who trained them? Are all questions I would ask though when comparing. I don't know if I would spend as much money on a stud fee for dashing cleat compared to a daughter of Mr.jess perry but that's just my opinion. And people with proven daughters and bigger named sires tend to get top notch trainers. To me it would depend on a mare individually in this case
DC averaged about $5 k per starter, MJP averaged about $17 k per starter. Only stating facts, not an opinion of whether or not he is a broodmare sire. MJP was only for a comparison, because he is well noted as a broodmare sire of race horses.
