I don't think that it's his actual tendon swelled... it's along the inside of it(no swelling on the back or outside)? Maybe ligaments that run along there? It has heat and quite a pulse in it. I'm looking for suggestions on what to do with it. Right now he's getting cold water twice a day, a cold sweat for 12 hrs and a BOT wrap for 12 hrs. Anything else you'd do? This is the 3rd time it's happened and before went away within 2 days. Everytime I put the horse out in a pasture with others, he runs and plays non stop and comes back in with something wrong! I can work him all day long and run barrels and it doesn't puff up/ affect him what so ever. Does that make any sense??

I would for sure stop turning him out with others. But I would also have him ultasounded/xrayed to make sure you don't have something damanged in there.

Try Ice Vibe boots. I just bought a pair and love them. And if you access to a laser or Theraplate , they will help too. Also I wouldn't sweat it until
there is no heat in leg.
