My second mare who is a maiden is at 351 today and I want to see it already!!! |

ETA: I see what I did - looked at the bag and niplets of J4F, and the butt on Murphy's mare, and thought they were the same. My bad. But my prediction stands. The pali may go to the end of May tho.

That's my birthday so 
I have one due around that date too and her nips look the same... she's carried super low the entire time.
My other mare had an utter that went up and down and she looked like she was going to pop for weeks. Just foaled on Wednesday and the filly was HUGE and perfect... but didn't make it, momma was a maiden and had complications. 
ETA: She went 3 weeks over her due date.

Location: Texas | My black mare Georgia is pretty easy to read now that I know her schedule. Except she doesn't wax, and she doesn't drip milk until she's in active labor.
She gets a bag 6 weeks before foaling.
She starts getting soft and squishy 2 weeks before foaling.. vulva starts elongating.. day of foaling she gets dramatically sunken around the tail head.
A few days before she foals she loses interest in the herd and hangs back to herself.
That evening she goes off her PM feed just a little.. leaves about 1/4 of it behind.
night time rolls around.. This time it was 1 AM… baby!
Lucy on the other hand. not a clue. she's just getting huge at this point. |

She leans her booty against the wall constantly, when you walk in her pen she nearly knocks you over begging to be rubbed and scratched. Last night, she was up and down and rolling (as much as her belly allows) all night long. I thought for sure it would be last night??? When she was laying down, she dripped a little fluid. Her teats were full but no wax, her vulva swollen and a little stretched.
Is all of this normal? Are we close(r)? Still days/weeks???

Sounds like you are definiately closer. My mare has been going on like that for over 2 weeks now - milk beads on the end of her teats, dropped, sunken tail, swollen/loose vulva, very uncomfortable, a little decreased in appetite. Last night she started waxing and then dripping thick waxy milk - I thought she would have it last night, but no such luck.
Sooooo...good luck and be patient - she could go on like this a lot longer!! |

LOL...I had a dream last night she had a bay filly with a star, back socks and a weird white patch on her shoulder. But that's impossible - only possibilities on color is palomino or sorrel. |

We had a coloring contest and this is what color my two-year-old says she's going to be. She wins if it's solid...the rest of us guessed paint.
