I have a horse that flexes actually over flexes and is very bendy. What is a good bit to help stiffen him up a little? Also he does better with bits that have nose bands but no metal nose bands.

My favorites are a Little S hackamore and the Connie Combs Stabilizer bit.  You can get the Stabilizer in a 5 or 7" shank.  I use the 7" for my frieght trains.

I used the little S until he started running through it now I have him in the bozo hack and he's doing awesome. Bit change and barrel drills is what I did

A Stivers or an old Josey hack (I don't think they make them anymore, so you would have to find an old one) would be a good hack to stiffen. I also like my Weaver Fast Stop on a too bendy horse, as it gets them more on their hind end and that tends to make them not so bendy.
