What do you do to save money or to have play money? What do you cut out? Salon trips? TV? Use coupons?
Basically Im a recent grad and looking to save my pennies & trying to come up with inventive ways. Hoping you guys will give me some ideas I hadn't thought of before!

My last semester of college, my roommate and I skipped having TV. We saved a bunch of money and got a lot more done! We also didn't hook our internet up. We both had data plans on our cell phones, and could go to the college library or public library to use the internet there as well. I started coloring my hair myself rather than paying salon prices (I still got my hair cut at a salon every few months). You can also save a TON on your electric bill if you are careful to shut lights off EVERY time you leave a room! I also saved a bunch on my board in college by doing self-care and buying my own hay.

I have done away with cable and haven't been to a salon in over 10 years. I have a friend who I let cut my hair and I color it myself.
I do use coupons when possible but you have to be careful to not buy things BECAUSE you have a coupon, only use the coupons if it is something you were going to buy anyway.
I also have a garden with lettuce, peppers, and veggies along with my chickens so I eat a lot of salads and eggs.
I also sell scrap aluminum and metal to the recycle place. If you see a broken washer, dryer, refrigerator etc... on the side of the road out for trash..that is free money. I used to think no way am I going to stop and be seen loading up someones trash until I realized how much money it can add up to. There have been weekends when I have hauled in two truck loads and walked away with as much as 400 dollars. I  no longer care what other people think of me.
Also whatever brand of feed you feed go to the website and sign up for emails. I feed Nutrena and they send me coupons at least once a month.
