Location: If I ever get back to Oklahoma..... | Looking for a friend, but what would they be looking to pay for a rental that would allow horses? Less than 10 acres with a home. Most likely be needing a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with it. A barn is not necessary, but pens already constructed would be a plus.
I know it all depends on area, but what are some of the going rates for something like this?

| I have a place about 40 miles east of OKC, 1 1/2 miles from town, that has a nice 3 bedroom, 2 bath (with storm shelter!) home, small Bermuda grass pasture with barn that I am going to rent. The house won't be available till Nov. 1st, but the pasture will be available about May 15th. There are other barns and horse fenced pasture that will be available at an additional cost or if someone has a LQ horse trailer they wouldn't mind staying in till the house is ready we could work out a deal with that. We are also going to put in an outdoor arena. If someone wants to talk about it an see pictures, they can email their situation and phone number at performance@finneyquarterhorses.com |

You'd be lucky to get a cockroach infested bachelor apartment downtown for that around here! |

| we pay $1050 including utilities for a really nice upgraded trailer, totally private on 40 acres. Landlord lives a few acres over, and we have become great friends and I care- take for her while she's gone. I brought all my own panels and made my own corals & shelters, and keep my hay in her hay barn. Couldn't ask for a better situation. We're in SW CO

Location: Muskogee, OK | It all depends on where you are located, but I rent a 3 bedroom 2 bath trailer house in Glencoe, OK (just outside of Stillwater, OK where Oklahoma State University is located) on 80 acres with a 6 stall barn with office and tack room for $600/month and then $50 per horse we have on the property. I am pretty sure I lucked out heavily with where I live now.... but similar places in the area go for about $1000-1500 a month. Before moving to where I live now I rented a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house on 5 fenced acres in the same general area. There was no barn (we did have a run-in shelter out in pasture) and we paid $920/month. |

| Acreage in SoCal? Ha!!!! Something like that would EASILY cost $3500 for a decent house. I live in a studio on a boarding facility and rent for me is $1200 with 2 horses. I am also kind of the ranch operations manager, so my horse board is reduced. |
